VistraTec has unveiled VistraPM, a project management and project controls platform being developed for transportation infrastructure, heavy civil construction and complex capital projects.
The company has launched a preview website for the platform ahead of its planned release, outlining functionality covering project controls, documentation, workflows, schedule intelligence and AI-assisted project insights.
VistraPM is being developed for transportation departments and agencies, civil engineering companies, contractors, programme management organisations and infrastructure owners.
The platform is intended to bring information currently distributed across spreadsheets, document repositories, emails, schedules, project logs and specialist systems into a connected project-level environment.
Project controls and schedule intelligence
VistraTec describes VistraPM as a Project-Level Management Ecosystem powered by its proprietary Visual Tracking Technology.
Rather than replacing existing enterprise or agency systems, the platform is designed to operate as an additional project delivery layer, connecting existing information with the teams responsible for day-to-day management.
Project controls functionality will cover cost, schedules, quantities, commitments, performance and risk.
Documentation and workflow capabilities will provide a central location for managing requests for information, submittals, inspections, approvals and other project records.
VistraPM will also include schedule intelligence designed to convert complex critical path method schedules into visual information covering project progress, milestones, critical activities and potential delays.
AI-assisted capabilities are being developed to identify trends, risks and potential opportunities from project information, with the aim of helping delivery teams identify emerging issues earlier.
“The challenge isn’t having more project data – it’s being able to see what that data is telling you,” said Scott Case, founder of VistraTec.
“VistraPM was created to transform that data into visual intelligence so project teams can make better decisions.”
Three disciplines brought together for development
VistraTec was founded in 2026 by Case, a professional engineer with more than 30 years of experience working on transportation infrastructure projects for US government agencies.
Development of VistraPM brings together three organisations covering different aspects of the platform.
VistraTec is contributing infrastructure and construction management expertise, while Eyedeal Tech is responsible for software engineering and schedule intelligence. CR Design Studios is contributing user experience, interface and visual design capabilities.
The partners are developing the platform around a visual approach to infrastructure project information and controls, with the aim of giving project teams a more connected view of delivery performance.
VistraPM remains under development, with VistraTec yet to announce a formal launch date. The company plans to provide further information and product demonstrations as the platform moves towards release.
