Cloud-based insurance software provider Insurity has formed a strategic partnership with Insurance Technology Services (ITS) to provide insurers with additional implementation, programme management and consulting support for technology modernisation projects.

The partnership will combine Insurity’s insurance technology platform with ITS’s implementation and industry expertise, with the companies aiming to help carriers manage complex transformation programmes and reduce risks between technology selection and operational deployment.

ITS has more than 35 years of insurance industry experience and supports carriers undertaking major system implementations and business process transformation.

Under the partnership, Insurity customers will have access to a range of ITS services including advisory support, implementation planning, programme and project management, business analysis, forms design and development, testing, data migration and end-user training.

The companies said the combination is intended to improve implementation quality, reduce complexity and provide insurers with a clearer route from technology investment to operational results.

Jeff Weiner, AVP, System Integrator Alliance Partnerships at Insurity, said: “Modernization programs succeed when customers have the right combination of technology and execution support.

“ITS brings decades of meaningful insurance experience, disciplined delivery, and a strong reputation for helping insurers manage complex implementation work. Together, we can help customers reduce risk, accelerate execution, and improve the return on their transformation investments.”

Supporting complex insurance implementations

Technology modernisation continues to represent a significant area of investment for insurance businesses as carriers replace or upgrade core platforms and seek to improve operational processes.

These programmes can involve extensive integration, data migration, testing and business change alongside the deployment of the underlying technology.

Through the new partnership, ITS will provide implementation and project delivery capability alongside Insurity’s cloud-based software, allowing customers to access support across different stages of their transformation programmes.

Chris Belle, President at Insurance Technology Services, said: “Insurers need partners that can connect strategic technology decisions with the day-to-day realities of delivery.

“Working with Insurity allows us to pair a modern insurance platform with consulting, implementation, data migration, testing, and advisory support so customers can move forward with more confidence and create value faster.”

Programme and project management will form part of the services available to customers, alongside business analysis and implementation planning. ITS will also support testing and data migration, two areas that can represent substantial workstreams within the replacement or modernisation of established insurance systems.

End-user training will provide additional support as customers move from implementation into operational use.

Expanding Insurity’s delivery capabilities

Insurity provides cloud-based software for insurance carriers, brokers and managing general agents.

The company says its technology is used by 22 of the 25 largest property and casualty insurance carriers and seven of the ten largest MGAs in the US. It has more than 400 cloud-based deployments.

Its platform is designed to support insurers modernising core systems, improving operational processes and developing digital services for policyholders.

The ITS agreement expands the implementation support available to organisations deploying those systems by combining the software platform with specialist insurance consulting and delivery expertise.

For project and programme teams involved in insurance transformation, the partnership provides access to support covering the wider implementation lifecycle, from initial planning and business analysis through project management, migration, testing and training.

The companies said the objective is to help insurers accelerate implementation while improving delivery quality and reducing the risks associated with complex technology transformation programmes.
