Parsons Corporation has secured a new three-year contract to continue managing the delivery of the Lusail City Infrastructure Program, reinforcing its long-standing role on one of the Middle East’s largest and most complex urban development programmes.
Awarded by Lusail Real Estate Development Company (LREDC), the contract will see Parsons provide programme management, construction management and construction supervision (PMCMCS) services across the master-planned city north of Doha.
The appointment continues Parsons’ involvement in Lusail, where it has supported the programme since 2006, under a new contractual framework.
Under the agreement, the company will oversee design and construction activities, interface management, project controls, quality assurance and stakeholder coordination across multiple infrastructure projects.
Ahmed El-Essnawi, Parsons’ Vice President and Qatar Country Manager, said the award reflected the company’s long-term partnership with the client.
“Lusail is one of the most significant urban developments in the region, and we are proud to continue supporting its delivery,” he said.
“Since 2006, we have been working with LREDC to provide project management, construction management and site supervision for infrastructure, utilities and landscape projects. This new programme reflects our longstanding relationship in delivering complex, multi-stakeholder developments that support the Qatar National Vision 2030.”

Covering approximately 38 square kilometres, Lusail City comprises 19 residential, commercial, mixed-use, entertainment and waterfront districts, including four artificial islands.
The development is designed to support Qatar’s long-term economic diversification by creating new residential communities, commercial centres, hospitality assets and tourism destinations.
Over the past two decades, Parsons has supported the delivery of several flagship developments within the wider programme, including Lusail Marina District, Lusail Plaza, Lusail Commercial Boulevard, The Seef Lusail Development and the Qetaifan Islands.
The programme has received multiple regional industry awards recognising excellence in infrastructure and urban development.
