Bell Integration has launched Nubirix, a transformation intelligence platform designed to help organisations plan and manage complex IT modernisation programmes by providing a consolidated view of applications, infrastructure and system dependencies.

The platform aims to address challenges associated with fragmented IT information, which can complicate project planning, investment decisions and risk management during major technology transformation initiatives.

Nubirix connects information from existing systems to create a continuously updated view of an organisation’s IT estate, supporting activities including cloud migration, data centre consolidation, infrastructure modernisation and artificial intelligence readiness.

According to Bell Integration, organisations using the methodology underpinning the platform have identified opportunities to recover between 10% and 20% of their IT estate from orphaned infrastructure and reduce project management effort by more than 60%.

Platform targets transformation planning and risk management

Large IT transformation programmes frequently involve multiple interconnected applications, infrastructure environments and operational dependencies.

Information about these systems can be distributed across spreadsheets, management platforms and individual teams, making it difficult to establish an accurate understanding of existing infrastructure before changes are implemented.

Nubirix is designed to consolidate this information into a single environment, giving transformation teams greater visibility of assets and the relationships between them.

The platform provides an updated view of applications, infrastructure and dependencies, enabling organisations to assess potential risks and identify priorities before undertaking migration or modernisation activities.

Bell Integration said the approach is intended to reduce reliance on incomplete information and individual knowledge when making decisions about complex technology programmes.

The company is positioning the platform as a tool for supporting investment planning, infrastructure optimisation and ongoing transformation governance.

Company reports reductions in project management effort

Bell Integration said the methodology supporting Nubirix has produced measurable operational improvements in previous transformation engagements.

According to the company, organisations applying the approach have recovered between 10% and 20% of their IT estate by identifying orphaned infrastructure.

This refers to infrastructure resources that remain in place despite no longer supporting an active or necessary business function.

The company also reported reductions of more than 60% in project management effort, although it did not provide details of the organisations assessed or the methodology used to calculate these figures.

Nubirix is intended to build on these practices by maintaining a connected view of infrastructure and transformation activities throughout a programme.

This includes supporting decisions about which systems should be retained, migrated, consolidated or modernised.

Governance and accountability built into platform

Alongside infrastructure visibility, Nubirix includes capabilities intended to support governance, traceability and accountability as transformation programmes progress.

The platform is designed to help organisations monitor whether technology investments are delivering their intended outcomes and identify potential risks as implementation activities evolve.

Bell Integration said the system can support more informed investment decisions by replacing assumptions with current infrastructure data.

Stuart McMinn, Chief Technology Officer at Bell Integration, said the platform draws on two decades of experience delivering technology transformation programmes.

“Nubirix is built on 20 years of real-world transformation delivery, not theory,” he said.

“Whether supporting cloud adoption or modernisation programmes, data centre consolidation or AI readiness initiatives, it provides the clarity and insight that organisations need to understand the road ahead and achieve successful outcomes.”

Focus on complex technology change programmes

The launch comes as organisations continue to undertake cloud migration, infrastructure consolidation and AI-related technology initiatives that require coordination across multiple systems and business functions.

For transformation programme managers, understanding system dependencies and the condition of existing infrastructure is an important part of defining project scope, sequencing activities and managing implementation risks.

Nubirix is designed to support these activities by providing a consistent information base for planning and monitoring technology changes.

The platform also aims to help organisations identify unnecessary infrastructure expenditure and assess the potential value of proposed modernisation activities.

Bell Integration said Nubirix is available immediately, extending its technology transformation services with a dedicated platform for infrastructure intelligence and programme planning.
