121G Innovation has launched ProjecXPro, an AI-assisted project and installation management platform designed to help businesses coordinate scheduling, resources, documentation and field operations through a single digital system.
The platform was developed in partnership with KorKat, a Georgia-based playground equipment distributor, and is intended primarily for small and medium-sized businesses managing multiple installation projects and field crews.
ProjecXPro brings together customer information, project schedules, crew assignments, permits, tasks, site photographs, forms and associated documentation into a centralised workflow accessible through desktop and mobile browsers.
The system has already been deployed within KorKat’s operations, where it is being used to manage playground installation projects.
Platform targets scheduling and resource coordination
ProjecXPro was developed to address the challenges faced by installation businesses that rely on spreadsheets, emails, paper documents and shared folders to coordinate projects.
The platform provides a central record for each installation alongside a company-wide view of active work.
Operations managers can monitor projects by status, location and assigned crew, while field teams can access drawings, tasks, forms and site information through mobile devices.
Projects can be created using configurable templates containing customer details, site information, task sequences, required documents and custom fields.
Calendar and Gantt chart views support scheduling and dependency management, while crew availability and assignment tools help coordinate resources across multiple jobs.
The system also includes map-based project views and administrative dashboards showing outstanding forms, task progress and installation photographs.
KorKat deploys system across project portfolio
KorKat approached 121G Innovation to consolidate its project and installation management processes, providing operational requirements and industry expertise during development.
The company manages more than 100 active projects simultaneously, creating scheduling challenges when individual installations are delayed.
Shane Lanier, Owner of KorKat, said changes to one installation could affect multiple projects and shared resources.
“On average, we manage 100+ active projects concurrently and when one installation experiences a delay, the impact waterfalls across multiple projects and resources,” he said.
Previously, the company manually reconciled schedules and resource allocations when project plans changed.
Lanier said ProjecXPro now automatically updates dependencies, tasks, resources and schedules when project plans are adjusted.
The company has deployed the platform and continues to add projects to its workflow.
AI tools support project intake and administration
Alongside scheduling and project controls, ProjecXPro includes features intended to reduce repetitive administration.
Its Smart Fill functionality can draft project fields using information from orders or emails, while a job intake application programming interface allows projects to be created from external systems.
The platform also supports connections to QuickBooks and web-based forms.
Other capabilities include digital site surveys, checklists, sign-off documentation, photo uploads, role-based permissions and activity audit logs.
These features are intended to support information management from initial customer intake through installation and final project approval.
Developer targets smaller installation businesses
121G Innovation plans to market ProjecXPro to small and medium-sized companies involved in playground installation and other products requiring field-based installation teams.
Greg Shilling, Partner at 121G Innovation, said the company identified a need for project management software that could be deployed without lengthy implementation programmes.
He argued that existing platforms can involve complex deployment processes and significant costs, creating barriers for smaller installation businesses.
ProjecXPro has been developed as a lighter-weight alternative intended to provide end-to-end project management capabilities through a more accessible implementation model.
The launch reflects growing interest in industry-specific project management systems that combine scheduling, resource coordination, documentation and field reporting within a single operational environment.
For installation contractors managing concurrent projects, the platform is designed to improve visibility of work in progress and reduce the administrative effort required to respond to scheduling changes and resource constraints.
